Basic level Pilates for those who are new to the practice or have been away from it for a while. Focusing on proper movement, form and breathing to enhance the exercise experience.
This class builds on the practice established in the beginner class, or for those who are experienced in Pilates, expanding the basic exerises to more challenging levels.
New to Pilates? Book a 40 minute intro class where we cover the basics of the Pilates moves and breathing and see what areas we can work on
Pilates coordinates the mind, body, and spirit to ease tension, and promote health. Regular practice improves breathing, flexibility, increases endurance for other activities, and promotes mindfulness. Take a break from your day. Focus yourself and find clarity.

I grew up in rural Alberta and loved running, climbing and physical activity.
In 2000 I graduated from the Mount Royal College Personal Trainer Program, 2001 I certified in Pilates Mat and Standing Pilates, and January 2022 I completed my Comprehensive Pilates training through Club Pilates.
The goal of Elysium Pilates and Fitness is to create a place of happiness and serenity in working your body through a variety of exercises intended to lengthen, strengthen and improve your flexibility in day to day activities.
